This Privacy Policy explains how Kobri Dog Training LLC ("Kobri," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit kobridogtraining.com (the "Site") or submit a booking inquiry. This policy is intended to address the general requirements of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA"), in addition to general best practices.

Information collected automatically
Our Site uses Squarespace's built-in analytics to collect basic, aggregate information such as pages visited, browser type, and general location. We do not currently use additional tracking tools such as Google Analytics or the Meta/Facebook Pixel.
Information collected through HoneyBook
Our contact/booking form is powered by HoneyBook, a third-party client management and payments platform. When you submit an inquiry or book a Service, HoneyBook collects information on our behalf, which may include:
Identifiers: your name, address, email address, and phone number
Service-related details: your dog's name and relevant details you choose to share (behavior, medical history, etc.), scheduling and service preferences
Payment information (collected, processed, and stored directly by HoneyBook and its payment processing partners — Kobri does not receive or store your full payment card details)
This information is subject to HoneyBook's own privacy policy, in addition to this one. We encourage you to review HoneyBook's privacy policy directly on their website.
Photos and videos
With your consent, we may collect photos or video taken during sessions, for use in marketing materials such as our Site, social media, and testimonials. This is only used where you've separately agreed to it, and you may withdraw consent for future use at any time by contacting us.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not currently operate an email newsletter or marketing list, so we do not collect email addresses for that purpose.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:
Contract: to schedule and provide Services you've requested
Consent: for photo/video use in marketing, and any optional communications
Legitimate interests: for basic Site analytics and business administration, where these interests are not overridden by your rights

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding 12 months. We share information only with:
HoneyBook, to manage bookings, communications, and payments
Service providers who help operate our business (e.g., our website host, Squarespace), where necessary, acting under confidentiality and data-processing obligations
Legal authorities, if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Kobri or others
6. International Data Transfers
We are based in the United States, and information collected through the Site or HoneyBook is processed and stored in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, which may not have data protection laws as comprehensive as those in your jurisdiction.
7. Data Retention
We retain client and booking information for as long as needed to provide Services, maintain business records, and meet legal or tax obligations. Data held within HoneyBook is subject to HoneyBook's own retention practices.

Our Site and Services are intended for adults, and we do not knowingly have minors using our Site or submitting information through it. We take reasonable steps to protect information collected through the Site, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Payment information is handled directly by HoneyBook's secure, PCI-compliant systems.
